About Millgate General Store

Long years of planning by the Hurst family family came to fruition with the opening of Millgate General Store in May of 2016. Millgate General Store fills a void the Village of Rochester has experienced since the closing of Leo Moss' gas station.

Twelve fueling stations handle both gasoline and diesel powered vehicles, and there is an additional high speed diesel island for larger trucks. The General Store serves as a small community market and offers fresh-food deli, a restaurant with your choice of inside dining near the cozy fireplace and big screen TV or patio dining when the weather beckons you outside.

The ability to order in-store items at the pump for pick up at the drive-through window is unique in this area to Millgate General Store. Our old-style general store theme is a reflection of Rochester's history while still offering all the modern conveniences one might want, including free Wi-Fi. Our friendly customer service is intended to make you feel right at home while you shop, dine, or just "Kaffee-Klatsch" with friends and neighbors. Visit often and help us make Millgate General Store a place "where everybody knows your name"!

To better serve the community, Millgate General Store invites you to stop in to share your thoughts about (or email suggestions for) any services you'd like to have provided or specific items or brands you would like to see stocked.
